Carlos Andino (born 1954) is a retired Cuban kickboxer and mixed martial artist〔http://ronin5.com/fighters/bio/Carlos_Andino〕 who won his first 42 consecutive full-contact matches. ==Biography== Carlos Andino was born in Havana, Cuba in 1954. In Cuba he trained in amateur boxing and later in karate. He was undefeated in full-contact matches, posting a record of 42-0-0. In 1980, he left Cuba and arrived in Florida. He embarked in kickboxing and was noted for a knockout punch. Andino earned the nickname, "Tail Pipe," due to his knockout power. He was heavily tattooed and shaved his head. In 1989, Andino snapped the knockout streak of Sherman Bergman; knocking out Bergman in 2 rounds (Source: Trendsetter (Newspaper)Sept./Oct.1989). On 15 July 1990, South Florida kickboxer Sherman Bergman knocked out Andino in the first round of their kickboxing rematch. Andino then relocated to Brazil. He launched a Vale Tudo and mixed martial arts career, but after knocking out two opponents, Andino went winless in 2 fights, including a first round knockout loss to Zuluzinho.
